NestLens IntelligenceLive

Know the private market before you enter the room

Structured, verified data on 200,000+ funds, LPs, GPs, venture studios, accelerators, service providers, and grants across 60+ countries. The intelligence layer built for the managers the global data incumbents ignore — and for the individuals those platforms have never served at all.

NestLens Intelligence is the first platform that gives institutional-grade private market data to individuals — solo analysts, independent advisors, first-time fund managers, and researchers who have always been priced out. No corporate email required. No purchase order. No six-figure contract. From $150/month.

Who Intelligence is for

🏛

Fund Manager · GP

You are sourcing deals and need to know exactly which LPs are actively allocating to your strategy right now

You spend hours every week manually researching LPs on LinkedIn, news articles, and conference attendee lists. Most of the time you are chasing the wrong people — LPs who are in moratorium, who have already allocated to a competitor, or who do not invest at your stage at all. Every wrong outreach wastes a relationship you cannot easily rebuild.

Saves 8–12 hours per week on LP research and co-investor tracking
💰Avoids costly introductions to LPs who were never going to be a fit
🎯Replaces 3 separate tools — news monitoring, contact databases, fund trackers
  • Verified LP profiles with mandate, ticket size, and active deployment status
  • Co-investor tracking — who is moving in your sector and stage right now
  • Fund signals — who just closed, who is actively raising, who has gone quiet
💼

LP · Allocator · Family Office

You are tracking emerging managers and need current, structured data on who is raising and what their track record looks like

The platforms you rely on for fund manager intelligence were built for large institutional allocators tracking established names. Emerging managers in India, SEA, MENA, and Africa barely appear. You either pay $30,000/year for a platform that ignores 80% of your target market, or you send your team to manually research every manager who sends a deck.

Cuts manager due diligence research from 3 weeks to 3 days per fund
💰Replaces a $30,000/year market-leader subscription at a fraction of the cost
🎯Covers the emerging manager universe your current tools do not
  • Emerging manager profiles across 60+ countries with strategy and team data
  • Relationship mapping between funds, portfolio companies, and co-investors
  • Signals on fund activity, manager movements, and new fund launches
⚖️

Service Provider

You provide legal, tax, audit, or advisory services to private market participants and need to know who is active and growing

Your business development depends on knowing which funds just raised, which GPs are forming new vehicles, and which startups just closed a round. Right now you find out months later — after they have already hired another firm. You are always reacting instead of positioning ahead of the engagement.

Know about a new fund raise the week it happens, not 6 months later
💰Win mandates before competitors even know the client exists
🎯Target outreach by stage, sector, and geography — not cold lists
  • Fundraise signals — new fund closes, portfolio company rounds, SEBI filings
  • 12,000+ service provider profiles — understand your competitive landscape
  • Contact intelligence — who to reach, not just which firm
🚀

Venture Platform · Accelerator · Incubator

You support a portfolio of startups and need to track co-investors, scout LPs for your fund, and map the ecosystem around you

Your team tracks hundreds of startups, dozens of co-investors, and a constantly shifting landscape of funds and angels active in your sector. This intelligence lives across spreadsheets, email threads, and your team's individual networks. When someone leaves, the knowledge walks out with them.

Consolidates ecosystem tracking that currently lives across 5 spreadsheets and 3 team members
💰Structured portfolio intelligence means better LP reporting and faster co-investment matching
🎯1,600+ venture platforms in the database — know exactly where you sit in the ecosystem
  • Co-investor tracking across your portfolio companies
  • LP discovery for your fund arm — filter by mandate and geography
  • Ecosystem map — see which accelerators, funds, and angels overlap with your portfolio
📊

Research Analyst · In-house Team

You produce private market intelligence for internal stakeholders and need structured, reliable data without building it from scratch

Every research brief starts the same way — 4 hours building a target list from LinkedIn, regulatory filings, news articles, and company websites. Half of that time is spent on data that turns out to be wrong or outdated. You deliver the actual analysis in a fraction of the time you spend on data collection.

Saves 15–20 hours per research brief on target list construction alone
💰Equivalent of 2–3 days of analyst cost saved per brief, every time
🎯Confidence labels on every field — you know exactly how reliable each data point is
  • Structured entity data — searchable, filterable, exportable for client reports
  • Verified · Reported · Inferred confidence labels on every data point
  • Entity unlock model — pay only for the firm profiles you actually need
🏢

Boutique Research Firm

You sell private market intelligence to clients and need a data layer that makes your team faster without eroding your margin

Your team spends more time gathering data than interpreting it. Your clients pay for your judgment and domain knowledge — not for your analysts to manually build fund lists from LinkedIn and Google. Every hour spent on data collection is an hour not spent on the insight your clients actually pay for.

Cuts the data collection phase of every client brief from days to hours
💰Handle 30–40% more client briefs per analyst without adding headcount
🎯Structured data your team can trust — no manual verification before every deliverable
  • Multi-seat plans — Core (2 seats), Growth (3), Pro (5) with shared credits
  • Coverage across 60+ countries — match whatever geography your clients need
  • Export-ready structured profiles for client-facing deliverables
🤝

Advisory · Placement Agent · Fundraising Advisor

You work with fund managers and founders raising capital — your value is knowing exactly who to call and when

Your reputation rests on the quality of your introductions. One introduction to an LP who is in moratorium or has a portfolio conflict costs you more than the time it took to make it — it signals that your intelligence is stale. Your network is your product. Keeping it current manually is not sustainable.

Current LP mandate status means fewer wasted introductions per mandate
💰One avoided wrong introduction protects a relationship worth more than a year's subscription
🎯Know who moved firms last month — team intelligence updated continuously
  • 7,000+ LP profiles with active mandate, deployment status, and ticket size
  • People movement signals — who moved where and when across funds
  • Warm path mapping — how your network connects to the target LP
🏛

Government Body · Ecosystem Organisation · DFI

You run a programme, fund, or policy initiative that depends on accurate intelligence about the private market ecosystem you serve

Your team compiles ecosystem reports manually — scraping SEBI filings, startup databases, and news sources to produce a picture of the VC and PE landscape that is already 6 months out of date by the time it reaches decision-makers. Policy built on stale data produces programmes that miss the market they are designed to serve.

Ecosystem reports that took 3 weeks to compile now take 3 days
💰Structured data means policy briefs built on current intelligence, not manual research
🎯150+ grants and schemes tracked — see what founders in your ecosystem actually access
  • Full ecosystem mapping — funds, accelerators, incubators, CoEs, grants in one view
  • SEBI AIF data structured and searchable — not just the raw filings
  • Geography and sector filters for state-level and national ecosystem analysis
👤

Individual · First-time Access

You are a solo analyst, independent researcher, or individual fund manager — and institutional-grade private market data has never been accessible to you before

The market-leading platforms start at $10,000/year and require a corporate account. Others need an institutional login. A global data terminal runs $24,000/year. Every platform that holds the private market data you need was designed to be purchased by procurement teams at large institutions. You have been excluded — not because the data is not useful to you, but because no one built access for an individual.

Access in 5 minutes. No procurement cycle. No corporate email required.
💰$150/month vs $10,000–$50,000/year — the same data, built for you as an individual
🎯The first platform that treats an individual as a first-class intelligence customer
  • Individual plan — $150/month or $1,800/year, no institutional requirement
  • 50 credits/month — unlock the 250 firm profiles that matter to you
  • Same data, same confidence labels, same relationship maps as enterprise tiers
🏛 NestLens Intelligence

Intelligence — before and after, for a research analyst profiling 10 fund managers

✗ Without Intelligence
Day 1–2: Build target list from LinkedIn, SEBI filings, news, and company websites. Half the data is wrong or outdated.
Day 3: Manually verify each fund's strategy, stage, and ticket size by reading their website and decks.
Day 4: Chase contacts — find the right person at each fund by cross-referencing LinkedIn, conference speakers, and press releases.
Day 5: Compile into a spreadsheet. Two funds turn out to be inactive. One LP is in moratorium. Start over on those three.
Result: 5 days, 20+ hours, a spreadsheet full of data of uncertain quality, and analysis that was supposed to take 2 days.
✓ With Intelligence
Hour 1: Search by sector, stage, and geography. Target list of 10 funds built in under an hour with verified data already attached.
Hour 2: Unlock the 10 fund profiles. Strategy, ticket size, team, portfolio, and LP relationships pulled from structured data with confidence labels.
Hour 3: Contact intelligence — right person at each fund identified, email and LinkedIn attached, role confirmed.
Hour 4–16: Spend the remaining time on the actual analysis. The data is already there. You are not building it from scratch.
Result: 16 hours total. 4 hours on data. 12 hours on analysis. Deliverable is 3 days early and demonstrably more accurate.

Capital ReadinessLive

Be ready before the investor asks

Two tracks — Founder Track for startups raising from VCs and angels, and Fund Track for emerging GPs raising from institutional LPs. One platform that knows exactly what each investor type expects to see — and shows you the gap before the conversation starts.

Most founders and fund managers lose rounds not because their business is wrong — but because their preparation is. Capital Readiness fixes the preparation problem end to end, for both sides of the table.

Founder Track

For startups raising pre-seed through Series B

A guided, stage-aware investor readiness system. Data room, legal checklist, investor fit scoring matched to live Intelligence data, grant discovery, and expert pitch and financial templates. What a pre-seed investor expects differs from what a Series A fund requires — Founder Track knows the difference and adjusts automatically.

Who Founder Track is for

🚀

First-time Founder

You are raising pre-seed for the first time and have never been through institutional investor diligence

You have a deck and a strong idea. An investor says yes to a meeting. Then they ask for the data room. You spend the next three weeks frantically assembling documents — a cap table someone made in Excel, an SHA that may or may not be the right version, a financial model built for the pitch and not for scrutiny. The investor follows up once, then goes quiet. You never find out why.

Saves 3–4 weeks of post-meeting scramble — data room is ready before the first meeting, not after
💰The round that stalls for 6 weeks costs far more than INR 9,999 in opportunity and dilution
🎯Legal checklist explains what each document is and why the investor will ask for it — not just a list
  • Step-by-step guided data room — each section tells you exactly what to upload and why
  • Legal checklist with document-level explanations at your stage
  • Investor fit scoring — know before you pitch which funds actually match your profile
📈

Series A Ready Founder

Your seed round closed on relationships — now you need institutional-grade preparation that actually survives diligence

Your angel round and seed happened on trust, momentum, and warm introductions. The investor knew your founder before you had a cap table. Series A is different. A fund with a real diligence process will pull your SHA, your IP assignment agreements, your employment contracts, your cap table history, and your financial model. If any of it is wrong, incomplete, or missing — the round slows. If the legal structure has a problem the fund's lawyers find first, it can die entirely.

Identifies structural gaps 4–8 weeks before diligence — time to fix them, not scramble
💰Avoiding one legal discovery that kills a round saves infinitely more than the subscription cost
🎯Institutional-grade data room structure your investors will recognise from day one of diligence
  • Series A standard data room — built to what a fund's legal and investment teams expect
  • Gap identification that surfaces problems before the investor's team does
  • Financial model template built to institutional scrutiny standards, not pitch standards
🌍

Emerging Market Founder

You are building in India, Southeast Asia, MENA, or Africa and approaching global institutional capital for the first time

Global investors operate with specific expectations around data room structure, cross-border legal documentation, governance standards, and regulatory compliance that most first-time emerging market founders have never encountered. The standards differ fundamentally from domestic angel rounds. A founder who has never dealt with a Singapore-based fund or a London-based growth equity investor does not know what they do not know — and finds out too late, in the diligence phase.

Removes the 6–8 week learning curve of figuring out what global investors expect — it is already built in
💰INR 9,999/year vs INR 50,000–2,00,000 for a consultant to build the same infrastructure manually
🎯Cross-border legal checklist items flagged by investor geography — what a Singapore fund asks is different from what an Indian VC expects
  • Global investor standard data room — built to what international funds expect
  • Investor fit scoring that matches your profile to funds in your target markets
  • INR-first pricing — no forex barrier to building the infrastructure you need
⚖️

CA, Legal Advisor, Startup Consultant

You advise founders on fundraising readiness and need a structured infrastructure tool to offer your clients — not just a checklist

You tell your clients what documents they need, what structure they should have, and what investors will ask for. But translating that advice into an actual organised, investor-ready data room takes weeks of back-and-forth — you chase documents, reorganise what they send you, and end up doing work that was not in the original engagement scope. You need a platform that executes the infrastructure so you can focus on the advice.

Clients arrive at diligence already structured — your advisory time goes to judgment, not document chasing
💰Earn 20% of every annual subscription you refer — INR 2,000 per India subscriber, $60 per global subscriber, no cap
🎯Cohort pricing if you run programmes for multiple founders — one deal covers your entire client base
  • Refer clients and earn 20% of their annual plan — no cap, no expiry
  • Cohort partner pricing if you advise 10+ founders at a time
  • Your clients arrive at investor meetings already prepared — which reflects on your advisory quality
🧠

Self-directed Founder

You are preparing for your raise independently — no accelerator, no advisor, no one telling you what you need to do before the meeting

You are resourceful and self-directed. You have read every article about fundraising, watched every Y Combinator video, and built your deck without help. But the operational infrastructure — the cap table, the SHA, the IP assignments, the financial model that survives a fund's CFO, the data room that does not make a partner raise an eyebrow — is not something you can figure out from blog posts. One wrong move at the legal or financial structure level can delay your round by months.

Replaces 20+ hours of research on what investors actually ask for with a guided checklist that already knows
💰Avoids hiring a consultant for INR 50,000–2,00,000 to build infrastructure Capital Readiness delivers for INR 9,999
🎯150+ grant and competition matches — find non-dilutive capital you did not know you qualified for
  • Guided data room that builds itself as you fill it — no blank-page paralysis
  • 150+ grants and competitions matched to your profile with live deadlines
  • Investor fit scoring — narrow your target list from 50 funds to the 12 actually worth approaching

New: Mentor Connect and Verified Audit

Mentor Connect books paid 1:1 time with vetted mentors and advisors, billed per minute in credits (from 10 credits/minute) — a quick 10-minute call costs less than a full session. Verified Audit puts a certified reviewer's eyes on your data room and readiness score before an investor does (500 credits). Investor fit matches are shown as your best 15 per category — request more from inside the app if you need a deeper list.

Founder Track — the 6 weeks before a Series A diligence request, with and without Capital Readiness

✗ Without Capital Readiness
Investor asks for the data room. You realise you do not have one — just a Google Drive folder of documents in various states of completion.
Week 1–2: Chase your CA for the SHA. Realise the IP assignment was never properly executed. The financial model you built for the deck does not have the assumptions documented.
Week 3: Compile everything into a folder, share a link. Investor's team comes back with 12 follow-up questions. Half of them flag issues you did not know existed.
Week 4–5: Fix the issues. Legal costs to clean up the cap table structure come to INR 80,000. The investor is now running parallel processes on two other companies.
Week 6: Investor passes. The stated reason is "timing." The real reason was the 6-week gap between meeting and clean data room — it signalled operational immaturity.
✓ With Capital Readiness
Before the first investor meeting, the data room is live — every section shows completion status, every missing document is flagged with a specific explanation of what is needed and why.
Legal checklist identified the IP assignment gap 8 weeks before the investor conversation. Fixed for INR 15,000 before it became a diligence issue.
Investor fit scoring narrowed the target from 35 funds to 11 that actually match your stage, sector, and geography. You go deeper on fewer, better conversations.
Investor requests data room access. You share a single link. They see a clean, organised, institutional-grade room — exactly what their legal team expects to find.
Diligence runs in 3 weeks instead of 8. The investor's team has fewer questions because the answers are already in the room. The round closes.

Cohort and Partner Programme — Founder Track

Fund Track

For emerging GPs raising Fund I or Fund II from institutional LPs

LP data room, fund documentation framework, LP fit scoring using the live NestLens Intelligence database, legal checklist for the LP edition, and track record structuring. Built around how institutional allocators — DFIs, pension funds, endowments, family offices — actually evaluate emerging managers. Not around how GPs think they are evaluated.

Who Fund Track is for

🏦

First-time GP

You are raising Fund I and have never built an LP data room — you do not know what institutional allocators actually need to see

You have built a strong investment thesis, developed deal flow, and identified a target LP list. Then your first serious LP asks for your data room and references your fund formation documents. You share a Google Drive folder with your pitch deck, a fund overview PDF, and a draft LPA that your lawyer is still reviewing. The LP goes quiet. Not because your fund is wrong — but because your materials signal that you have not done this before.

LP data room built in days, not weeks — before the first serious LP conversation, not after
💰$500/year vs $3,000–$6,000/year for comparable fund administration tools built for established GPs
🎯LP fit scoring identifies the 10–15 allocators most likely to say yes to your specific mandate
  • Full LP data room structured to institutional allocator standards
  • Fund documentation framework — LPA summary, term sheet, subscription document, co-investment policy
  • LP fit scoring matched to 7,000+ LP profiles by strategy, geography, and ticket size
💡

Operator or Angel Transitioning to Fund Management

You have a strong track record as an investor but you have never structured it in the format institutional LPs expect to see

Your angel investments performed well. Your operator background gives you a credible edge. But presenting a pre-fund track record to institutional LPs — in the format they require, with the attribution, confidence levels, and narrative structure they expect — is not something you have done before. LPs who review hundreds of emerging managers have a pattern-matching system for well-presented track records versus self-serving ones. Yours needs to land in the former category.

Track record structuring framework eliminates weeks of figuring out the right format by trial and error
💰A well-structured track record changes LP conversion rates — one successful first LP close returns the subscription cost many times over
🎯Attribution and confidence standards that match how LP due diligence teams verify claims
  • Track record structuring in LP-standard format with attribution and confidence levels
  • Narrative framework that positions operator insight as a genuine GP edge, not just a credential
  • LP fit scoring to identify allocators who specifically back operator-turned-GP profiles
🌱

Accelerator or Incubator with a Fund Arm

You run a strong programme with real deal flow — now you are formalising a fund vehicle and need LP-grade infrastructure from day one

Your accelerator has a legitimate portfolio, a track record of supporting companies, and an investor network you have built over years. Structuring a formal fund vehicle that institutional LPs will take seriously requires a different kind of documentation — SEBI AIF registration, a proper LPA, a reporting framework, a compliance structure. Your programme expertise is real. Your fund infrastructure is where the gaps are.

Fund documentation framework means LP data room is ready for institutional conversations from day one of fundraising
💰Structured LP reporting from the start prevents the expensive retrofitting that most Fund I GPs do in Year 2
🎯Compliance checklist covers SEBI AIF, KYC, and regulatory filing requirements specific to your fund structure
  • Compliance checklist: SEBI AIF registration, KYC framework, regulatory filing requirements
  • LP reporting framework built into the data room from day one — not retrofitted after first close
  • Portfolio presentation structure that institutional LPs recognise from established fund managers
🌐

Emerging Market GP Approaching Global LPs

You are raising from DFIs, endowments, pension funds, or global family offices — and they operate with a fundamentally different diligence framework than domestic LPs

Global institutional LPs — IFC, PROPARCO, pension funds, Asian Development Bank, global family offices — have specific and non-negotiable due diligence requirements. Most emerging market GPs approach them with materials that were designed for domestic angel networks or seed-stage Indian LPs. The mismatch signals exactly what you do not want to signal: inexperience with institutional processes. The conversation dies before your investment thesis is even evaluated.

Removes the 3–6 month learning curve of understanding what global institutional LPs actually require
💰DFI and endowment relationships are multi-decade — getting the first conversation right has compounding value
🎯7,000+ global LP profiles — identify which DFIs and endowments actually back emerging market managers at your fund size
  • Global LP standard data room built to what DFIs and institutional allocators expect
  • DFI and endowment-specific compliance items flagged in the legal checklist
  • LP fit scoring filtered by DFI mandates, endowment strategies, and emerging market allocation policies

New: portfolio company tracking for GPs

Track every company you've backed inside Fund Track. Add a company for free, unlimited tracking of the key facts — no seat used, no data room created. Invite them instead and, once they accept, you get a real shared data room you can browse read-only — including working document downloads — the same view an investor gets on a shareable link. The first 5 accepted companies are included in Fund Track; additional accepted seats are $75/year each. Running more than one fund? The GP dashboard aggregates AUM, portfolio, and LP data across every fund room your workspace owns.

Fund Track — the 90 days before a first LP close, with and without Capital Readiness

✗ Without Fund Track
Month 1: Approach 40 LPs from a list compiled from conference attendees and LinkedIn. No filtering by mandate. 30 do not respond. 8 ask for materials you do not have organised.
Month 1–2: LP asks for fund formation documents. You share a draft LPA and a pitch deck. Their legal team sends back 18 questions. You spend three weeks with your lawyer at INR 5,000/hour.
Month 2: LP asks for your track record in a specific attribution format. You compile a spreadsheet. They come back asking for third-party verification documentation you do not have structured.
Month 2–3: LP goes quiet. Another GP in the same space closed them during your document back-and-forth. You missed the allocation window because your materials were not ready.
Month 3: Fund close delayed by 6 months. Management fee clock is running. You are burning personal runway on a fund that should have closed already.
✓ With Fund Track
Before month 1: LP data room is live. Fund thesis, team bios, track record in LP format, fund terms, compliance documents, and LP reporting framework are all in one shareable link.
LP fit scoring narrowed the target to 18 allocators whose mandate, ticket size, geography, and stage match your fund. You approach the 18 first. Response rate is 60% higher.
LP asks for fund formation documents. You share a section of the data room — LPA summary, subscription agreement, co-investment policy — instantly. No back-and-forth on format.
Track record is structured in LP-standard attribution format. Third-party verification documentation is already attached. Due diligence runs in 4 weeks instead of 12.
First close happens in month 2. Management fee activates. You can focus on investing, not on document production.

NestLens ExchangeLive

India's first private market data marketplace

Buyers post structured project briefs. Verified sellers apply and deliver. No procurement cycles. No agency markup. No rigid contracts. Priced and paid in INR.

Exchange is not a freelance platform. The closest global comparison is the leading enterprise data marketplace — but it is enterprise-only, USD-priced, and built for buyers with procurement teams and six-figure budgets. Exchange is built for everyone with the right mindset and potential — an individual researcher, a boutique firm, a startup, a fund. If you need structured data and you know what you need, Exchange works for you. No minimum spend. No corporate account required.

Verified sellers only

Every seller completes a verification process before listing. QC infrastructure on every deliverable. You know what you are getting before you pay.

Brief-first model

You post what you need. Qualified sellers apply. You choose. No cold pitches, no discovery calls with unvetted strangers, no agency middlemen.

Quarterly credit rollover

Sellers get 15 applications per month. Unused credits roll over quarterly up to 45. Not use-or-lose. Sellers are not punished for slow months.

INR-first, no forex friction

Every transaction priced and settled in INR. No USD conversion, no international wire fees, no forex risk for Indian buyers and sellers.

Private market specialisation

Built specifically for AI training data, financial research, annotation, OCR, multilingual collection, and market intelligence. Not a generic marketplace for any kind of freelance work.

Open to individuals

No corporate account required. No procurement process. A solo analyst, an independent researcher, or a first-time buyer can post a brief and find a verified seller in hours.

For Buyers — who Exchange is for

🤖

AI Company · ML Team

You need structured training data at scale — and finding reliable providers through referrals takes longer than building the dataset yourself

Your model needs domain-specific training data — financial documents, Hindi text, annotated medical records, structured OCR outputs from regulatory filings. Finding a reliable provider through your network takes 4–6 weeks of outreach. The ones you find through Upwork or Fiverr deliver inconsistent quality with no accountability structure. You end up spending more time cleaning the data than you saved by outsourcing.

Cuts vendor sourcing from 4–6 weeks to 48 hours — post a brief, qualified sellers apply to you
💰QC infrastructure on deliverables means no spend on cleaning bad data after the fact
🎯Verified specialists — not generalists who claim they can do anything
  • Post your brief once — qualified verified sellers come to you
  • QC review on every deliverable before it reaches you
  • Domain-matched sellers — annotation, OCR, multilingual collection, financial data
📈

Fund · Research Team · Family Office

You need custom private market research on a specific sector or geography — and your internal bandwidth does not exist for it

Your fund needs structured data on 400 PE firms in Southeast Asia. Or a monitoring brief on 60 portfolio companies across Africa. Or a quarterly update on regulatory developments in a sector your team does not cover. Your analysts are at capacity. Commissioning an external research agency takes 3 months of procurement and delivers a report format you did not ask for at a price you did not budget.

Brief posted and seller engaged in 48 hours — not 3 months of procurement
💰Pay per project with no minimum spend — not a retainer for a research firm you use twice a year
🎯Structured delivery format you define — CSV, JSON, or report — not what the agency defaults to
  • Private market research briefs matched to verified analysts with domain expertise
  • Structured delivery in the format you need — not the seller's default output
  • Recurring brief option for monitoring and quarterly update work
🌏

Enterprise · Startup · Corporate Team

You need multilingual data collection, domain-specific annotation, or structured extraction — without a 6-month contract or a minimum spend you cannot justify

Your product needs Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, or Bengali training data. Your model needs financial document annotation at a quality level Upwork cannot guarantee. Your team needs OCR extraction from 500 regulatory filings by next month. The providers you find through generic platforms do not specialise in what you need. The agencies that do specialise require a contract, a minimum spend, and a 4-week onboarding process.

No onboarding process — brief goes live immediately, sellers apply within hours
💰No minimum spend, no retainer — pay exactly for the project you have, nothing more
🎯12+ Indian languages covered by verified specialists — not generalists claiming multilingual capability
  • Multilingual data collection across 12+ Indian languages with verified specialists
  • Domain-specific annotation — fintech, healthcare, legal, regulatory
  • Buyers join and browse free — pay only for projects you actually commission

For Sellers — who Exchange is for

📊

Data Analyst · Independent Researcher

You have deep domain expertise in private market data and want structured project work that matches your skills — not a race to the bottom on price

Upwork and Fiverr are built for volume and commoditised work. The moment you list a data research service, you are competing with hundreds of generalists who undercut on price and overstate capability. Your domain expertise in fund manager data, LP profiling, or financial document extraction is worth more than any generic platform allows you to charge. You need a channel where the buyer already understands the brief is specialised — and is willing to pay accordingly.

Brief-first model means you apply only to projects that match your expertise — no time wasted on mismatched enquiries
💰Buyers on Exchange post budgets — you know what the project pays before you apply, not after 3 rounds of negotiation
🎯Verified badge signals to buyers that you have been through a quality review — immediate credibility differentiation
  • $199/year — 15 applications per month, credits roll over quarterly up to 45
  • Verified seller badge — instant trust signal with serious buyers
  • Domain-matched briefs — apply only to work that fits your actual expertise
🏢

Research Firm · Boutique Agency

You deliver high-quality specialised research and want consistent project flow without spending half your time on business development

Your firm does excellent work. But finding the next client requires constant cold outreach, conference attendance, and relationship maintenance that consumes capacity you would rather spend on research. Most procurement cycles for research services take 3 to 6 months from first conversation to signed contract. You need a channel where qualified buyers with active briefs come to you — not a channel where you pitch into the void and hope someone responds.

Qualified buyer inbound — you apply to live briefs from buyers who already know what they need and what they are willing to pay
💰Transparent 8–15% commission on completed projects only — plus the flat $199/year listing. No hidden agency markup
🎯QC infrastructure on deliverables differentiates you structurally from unverified providers on the same platform
  • Firm profile listed on Exchange with verified badge and capability categories
  • Apply to multiple live briefs simultaneously — 15 applications per month
  • Transparent 8–15% commission on completed projects — plus the flat annual listing fee
💬

Language Specialist · Multilingual Data Provider

Your expertise in Indian languages is in growing demand for AI training data — but the buyers are scattered and the briefs are inconsistent

The demand for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, and other Indian language data is growing rapidly as AI companies build for India-first and Bharat markets. But the buyers are spread across dozens of platforms, geographies, and procurement processes. You spend as much time finding the right brief as you do completing it. And when you find a buyer through a generic platform, the brief is often vague, the budget is unclear, and the quality standard is undefined until after you have done the work.

Structured briefs — buyers on Exchange specify language, volume, format, and quality standard upfront, not after you start
💰INR-settled payments — no international wire delay, no forex conversion loss, no payment platform fee stack
🎯Language-specific brief matching — briefs that need your language show up for you, not for everyone
  • Language-specific brief matching across 12+ Indian languages
  • INR-settled payments — no forex friction on either side
  • Quarterly credit rollover — slow months do not cost you accumulated applications

Exchange — sourcing a private market dataset before and after

✗ Without Exchange — Buyer perspective
Week 1–2: Ask your network for a recommendation for a vendor who can build a PE fund dataset for Southeast Asia. Get 4 names. Two are too big and require a retainer. One does not respond. One quotes 3x your budget.
Week 3–4: Try Upwork. Post a job. 47 applications arrive. 40 are clearly not specialists. Spend a week interviewing the remaining 7. Only 2 have done private market research before.
Week 5: Hire the best of the 2. They deliver a spreadsheet in the wrong format. Back-and-forth on revisions takes 2 more weeks. Quality is inconsistent — some fields verified, some clearly scraped and unverified.
Week 7–8: Spend time cleaning the data before you can use it. Your analyst who was supposed to be doing analysis has spent 3 weeks on vendor management.
Result: 8 weeks, significant management overhead, a dataset of uncertain quality, and an analyst who should have been doing higher-value work.
✓ With Exchange — Buyer perspective
Day 1: Post a structured brief — "500 PE fund managers, India and SEA, fields: firm name, AUM, strategy, key partners, website. CSV delivery, 14-day deadline. Budget: $800–1,200." Done in 20 minutes.
Day 2–3: 6 verified sellers apply. All 6 have done private market research before — Exchange only shows briefs to sellers whose verified capability matches. You review 6 profiles, not 47 random applications.
Day 4: Select a seller. Brief is scoped, format agreed, delivery date confirmed. QC framework means the deliverable will be reviewed before it reaches you.
Day 14: Deliverable arrives. QC review completed. Dataset is in the format you specified, fields are verified against primary sources, confidence labels attached where appropriate.
Result: 14 days, 20 minutes of your time on the brief, a verified dataset in the format you needed, and your analyst spent the 2 weeks doing analysis, not vendor management.

NestHRLive

Run your full people function on one platform

11 modules covering the complete employee lifecycle. Two editions — Corporate for growing companies and startups, Campus for universities and placement cells. Built for how Indian organisations actually run HR — not adapted from software designed for US teams.

Most HRMS platforms in India are either enterprise tools that cost more than your payroll to implement, or basic tools that handle attendance and leave but nothing else. NestHR covers the full lifecycle — payroll, compliance, performance, learning, talent acquisition, document management, and workforce intelligence — at ₹799 per employee per year. No per-module pricing. No forced implementation consultants. No 12-month lock-in.

Corporate Edition

For companies with 10 to 500 employees

Full 11-module HRMS — People, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Performance, Learning, Expense, Talent OS, Document Engine, Work Intelligence, and Analytics. INR-first. Compliance-first. Built for how Indian companies actually operate — not for how US HR software assumes you do.

Who Corporate Edition is for

Fast-growing Startup · 10–50 people

You have grown fast and HR never caught up — payroll is manual, attendance is a spreadsheet, and offer letters are copy-pasted Word documents

You hired your first 10 people on instinct and speed. Then 20. Then 40. Every month the payroll process takes longer, involves more manual steps, and carries more risk of a mistake that affects real people's salaries. Your attendance system is a shared Google Sheet that everyone edits differently. Offer letters are Word files with find-and-replace that someone will eventually forget to update. One compliance issue — a missed TDS filing, a disputed leave balance, an employee who questions their PF deduction — and you are spending a week you do not have on something that should have been automated 20 employees ago.

Payroll that took 5 days a month now takes 30 minutes — review, approve, disburse
💰₹799/employee/year — a 40-person company pays ₹31,960/year vs ₹2–5 lakhs for enterprise HRMS implementation
🎯No compliance gaps — PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax calculated correctly and filed on time, every time
  • Three-way compliant payroll — PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax — runs in 30 minutes
  • Automated attendance tracking with exception-based review — no manual data entry
  • Document engine with 16 letter types and built-in e-signature — offer to exit, covered
👩‍💼

Operations Lead · HR Manager

You run payroll manually every month and it consumes your entire week — one error affects real people, one missed filing becomes a government notice

Your monthly payroll process looks like this: collect attendance data from the shared sheet, reconcile leaves and LOP deductions, calculate gross salaries, apply PF and ESI deductions, compute TDS for each employee based on their declarations, prepare the salary register, get it approved, initiate bank transfers, generate salary slips, and file the compliance returns. Each step is manual. Each step has dependencies on the previous one. One wrong number cascades. The process takes you 4 to 6 working days. Every month. Without fail.

The 4–6 day monthly payroll process becomes a 30-minute review-and-approve step — your week is yours again
💰Compliance filings tracked with deadline alerts — no INR 10,000–50,000 penalty for a missed filing date
🎯Salary slips generated and distributed automatically — you never chase an employee for their slip again
  • Payroll runs automatically — you review the output and approve, not build it from scratch
  • Compliance filing tracker with deadline alerts for PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax
  • Salary slip generation and distribution automated — Form 16 generated at year end
📋

Founder Scaling the Team

You are onboarding 3 to 5 new people every month and every hire is a different ad-hoc process that only you can navigate

Your onboarding process exists only in your head. Documents are collected through WhatsApp. Bank details come in on a chat message. The offer letter is emailed as a PDF attachment that gets signed, scanned, and sent back as a blurry JPEG. IT access is requested in a different Slack channel. The new joiner's first week involves chasing 6 different people for 6 different things they should have had on day one. You are building a team while also being the manual glue holding the joining process together. One day you will not have time to do this — and that day comes faster than you expect.

Onboarding checklist runs automatically — new joiner gets everything on day one without anyone chasing anyone
💰Structured onboarding reduces first-30-day attrition — a bad first week costs more than the annual subscription
🎯Work Intelligence shows you how your team actually works — not just attendance logs, but output and collaboration patterns
  • Talent OS for campus and bulk hiring — JDs, applications, interviews, offer flow in one system
  • Onboarding checklist that runs itself — documents, access, introductions, day-one kit
  • Work Intelligence — see how your team builds, not just when they log in
🏗

SME · Traditional Business Digitising HR

You have 50 to 200 employees and HR still runs on paper, manual registers, and a payroll that only one person in the company knows how to run

Your attendance register is physical. Your leave application comes in writing. Payroll is managed by one person who has been doing it the same way for 8 years — in a spreadsheet that nobody else understands. Your employee records are in a filing cabinet. When an employee asks for an experience letter, someone has to find the Word template, edit it manually, print it, sign it, scan it. Your compliance exposure grows every year that this continues, and your employees deserve better infrastructure than what you currently provide.

Full digitisation without a 6-month enterprise implementation — NestHR is live and running in days, not quarters
💰₹799/employee/year — a 100-person company pays ₹79,900/year, not ₹10–20 lakhs for enterprise HR software
🎯No forced contracts — switch off if it does not work. It will work.
  • Full HRMS without enterprise pricing or enterprise implementation timelines
  • Digital leave, attendance, and document management — no more paper registers
  • Single person dependency on payroll eliminated — system runs the process, humans review

Corporate Edition — one month of HR operations, with and without NestHR

✗ Without NestHR
Week 1: Collect attendance from the shared sheet. Reconcile 12 leave applications submitted via WhatsApp. Realise 3 of them are inconsistent with what the sheet shows. Spend 2 days resolving disputes.
Week 2: Build the payroll register manually. One formula is wrong. Three employees have salary revisions this month. Two have variable pay components. TDS needs to be recalculated for the new joiners. It is now Wednesday and you have not started the actual payroll.
Week 3: Initiate bank transfers. One employee's account details changed and nobody updated the record. The transfer fails. They call you directly. You spend half a day on a single salary disbursement issue.
Week 4: Generate salary slips manually in Word. Send them out by email. Four employees cannot find them. Two say the numbers are wrong. One asks for a revised Form 16 from 3 years ago that you have to find in a folder on someone's old laptop.
End of month: 5 full working days consumed by payroll. Compliance filings delayed by 3 days. Your actual operations work did not happen this week.
✓ With NestHR
Week 1: Attendance tracked automatically. Leave requests submitted, approved, and recorded in the system. No WhatsApp, no reconciliation, no disputes about what the sheet says.
Week 2: Payroll generated automatically from attendance, leave, salary structure, and variable pay rules. You review a single output screen. Salary revisions updated in the employee profile — reflected in payroll automatically.
Week 3: Bank transfers initiated from the platform. All bank details verified at onboarding and maintained in the system. Transfers go out correctly the first time.
Week 4: Salary slips generated and distributed to each employee through the platform. Accessible in their self-service portal. Form 16 generated at year end automatically from the annual payroll record.
End of month: 30 minutes on payroll review. Compliance filings scheduled and filed on time. Your operations work happened this week because HR did not consume it.

Campus Edition — PlacementOS

For universities, colleges, and campus placement cells

Student profiles, company drive management, batch eligibility filtering, tokenised offer tracking, company-facing coordination portal, and real-time placement analytics. Complimentary People OS for placement staff included at every campus tier — manage your placement team on the same platform you manage your placement season.

Who Campus PlacementOS is for

🎓

Placement Officer · Training and Placement Cell

You manage 300 students and 50 companies through a placement season that runs on WhatsApp, Excel, and email — and every week something falls through the cracks

Your placement season is a 4-month coordination exercise between hundreds of students and dozens of companies, all happening simultaneously. Drive schedules are shared on WhatsApp — 30% of students miss the message or claim they did. Eligibility is checked manually against a printed spreadsheet that was accurate 3 weeks ago. Offer status is tracked in a shared Excel file that three people edit at the same time and nobody trusts. When a company asks for the final shortlist at 6pm, you are building it from scratch. When a student asks why they were not shortlisted, you have no documented trail to show them.

Drive coordination that takes 3 days per company now takes 2 hours — schedule, notify, filter, track, all in one place
💰Structured placement data means faster report generation for management — no end-of-season compilation scramble
🎯Documented audit trail for every decision — eligibility filter, shortlist, offer — so no dispute has no answer
  • Drive management — schedule, student notifications, eligibility filter, interview tracking, result recording in one flow
  • Eligibility filter by CGPA, branch, backlog count, and custom criteria — applied instantly across the full student database
  • Tokenised offer flow — students receive and respond to offers through the platform, not through WhatsApp
🏫

Principal · Dean · Academic Leadership

Placement data goes to NIRF, NAAC, and the management committee every quarter — but assembling it takes your placement team two weeks of manual work every time

NIRF and NAAC submissions require accurate placement data — percentage placed, median salary, top recruiters, sector distribution. Every year this data is assembled manually by your placement team from a combination of their own notes, the Excel sheet, email threads, and whatever records HR kept. It takes two weeks. The numbers change between the draft and the final submission because someone found an error. Your management committee meetings require placement dashboards that your team builds the night before by pulling data from four different places.

NIRF and NAAC placement data extracted in minutes from a live, always-current database — not assembled manually before every submission
💰Management dashboards available in real time — no overnight report building before every committee meeting
🎯Historical placement data structured and searchable across years — trend analysis that was previously impossible to produce quickly
  • Real-time placement analytics dashboard — always current, no manual compilation required
  • NIRF and NAAC data extracted directly from the platform in the required format
  • Multi-year placement history structured and comparable — trend analysis in minutes
🏆

College Improving Placement Performance

You lost placements last season because coordination broke down — companies withdrew offers, students missed drives, and the follow-through that should have converted interest into offers did not happen

Last season a company came for a drive, shortlisted 12 students, and then withdrew their offers two weeks later because the interview no-shows were never flagged. Three students were shortlisted for a role they were not eligible for because the Excel filter was wrong. Four companies never came back because the post-drive feedback process was so disorganised they decided the placement cell was not worth the operational overhead. These are not exceptional failures — they happen every year at institutions that run their placement season on email and WhatsApp.

No-show tracking with automatic alerts to placement officer and student — catches the problem before the company notices
💰One recovered company relationship pays for the platform multiple times over — companies return when operations are professional
🎯Eligibility filter is the system — not a human checking a spreadsheet — so wrong shortlists do not happen
  • No-show and non-response tracking with escalation alerts — problems surface in hours, not after the company has left
  • Company-facing coordination portal — drives scheduled, feedback collected, communication logged in one place
  • System-enforced eligibility — filter runs on the database, not on a printed list someone checks manually

Campus PlacementOS — one company drive, with and without PlacementOS

✗ Without PlacementOS
Day 1: Company confirms a drive date. You send a WhatsApp broadcast to the student group. 40% do not see it. You follow up individually for the next 2 days.
Day 2–3: Build the eligibility shortlist by filtering the Excel sheet manually. Two students who should be eligible are missed. One ineligible student is included by mistake.
Day 4 (Drive day): 3 shortlisted students do not show up. You find out when the company calls you. The company is annoyed. You call 3 different people trying to find out what happened.
Day 5–7: Compile interview results from email and WhatsApp messages from the company HR. Enter them into the Excel manually. Two students' results are entered incorrectly.
Day 8–14: Company issues offer letters via email. Students accept via WhatsApp message to you. You track acceptances in a column on the spreadsheet. Two students accept two offers. Nobody catches it until week 3.
✓ With PlacementOS
Day 1: Company drive added to the system. Eligible students notified automatically via the platform with drive details, time, and location. Read receipts tracked. Non-readers receive a follow-up reminder automatically.
Day 2: Shortlist generated by the system based on eligibility rules you set. Every student on the list is verified eligible. You review and confirm in 10 minutes.
Day 4 (Drive day): No-show alert fires 30 minutes after start time for the 3 absent students. You call them. Company never notices a coordination problem because the system caught it first.
Day 5: Interview results entered once by the company HR through the company portal. Automatically reflected in the placement database. No manual entry, no transcription errors.
Day 6: Offer tokens issued to selected students through the platform. Students accept via the portal. Double-offer conflict caught automatically and flagged before the student is placed twice.

FAQs

Questions you were going to ask on the call

Everything is answered here. If it is not, email Ankit directly.

NestLens is LabelNest's private market intelligence and capital infrastructure platform. It serves a wide range of users — from large fund managers and institutional LPs down to individual researchers, first-time founders, and solo analysts who have never had access to institutional-grade private market data before. If you work in or around private capital, intelligence, or people operations, there is a product here for you.
The global data incumbents were built for established funds in developed markets at $10,000 to $50,000 per year and require institutional accounts. NestLens covers the entities they ignore — emerging GPs, venture studios, accelerators, grants, and founders in markets they barely track. We add Capital Readiness and Exchange — tools those platforms do not offer. And critically, we are accessible to individuals from $150/month, with no corporate account required.
Credits unlock entity profiles. When you find a fund, GP, LP, contact, or venture studio you want to view in depth, you spend a credit to unlock their full profile including linked contacts, relationship maps, and confidence labels. Credits expire at the end of each month. You choose when to unlock — browse first, unlock only the profiles you actually need.
Founder Track is for startup founders raising from VCs and angels — data room, cap table, legal checklist, and investor fit scoring. Fund Track is for GPs raising from institutional LPs — LP data room, fund documentation, LPA framework, LP fit scoring, and track record structuring. Two different investor types, two fundamentally different preparation frameworks. You choose the track that matches who you are raising from.
Yes. You control exactly what each investor sees — every section can be set to public, investor-only, or private. You share via a single clean link and can revoke access at any time. Your data is yours — LabelNest does not use your data room contents for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
No. Intelligence, Capital Readiness, and Exchange are separate products. You can subscribe to any one independently. Capital Readiness includes investor and LP fit scoring using our database — no separate Intelligence subscription required for this feature. Intelligence plans include free Exchange buyer access.
Refer a founder or fund manager who subscribes to Capital Readiness and earn 20% of their annual plan — paid directly to you. INR 2,000 per India subscriber, $60 per global subscriber, $100 per Fund Track subscriber. No cap on referrals and no expiry. You choose either revenue share or a discount for your own clients — never both simultaneously.
Exchange is India's first private market data marketplace — but the category is broad. It covers AI training data, annotation, OCR, financial document extraction, custom market research, multilingual data collection, and domain-specific intelligence briefs. If the work involves structured data collection, extraction, annotation, or research in a specialised domain, Exchange is built for it.
Verified data providers who deliver AI data collection, annotation, OCR, financial research, multilingual datasets, and domain-specific intelligence. All sellers complete a verification process before their profiles go live. Deliverables go through QC review before reaching the buyer. 17+ verified sellers are active at launch — the marketplace is live, not a directory of listings.
NestHR Corporate is priced per employee per year — ₹799 for Standard and ₹999 for Plus. A 20-person company on Standard pays ₹15,980 per year for all 11 modules. No per-module pricing. No setup fee. No mandatory implementation consultant. Campus PlacementOS starts at ₹20,000 per year for up to 100 students, with complimentary People OS for placement staff included at every tier.
Yes. Intelligence, Capital Readiness, and Exchange are built for global use — with particular focus on emerging managers in Singapore, UAE, South Africa, UK, Australia, and Africa. USD pricing on all plans. Capital Readiness Fund Track is specifically designed for GPs raising from global institutional LPs including DFIs and endowments. NestHR is India-first for now.
Founded by Ankit Kumar Suman — VP Data Quality at a global asset manager following its acquisition of a market-leading private market data platform, where he was AVP Data Quality and Controls managing 35+ professionals across 7 specialised units covering global investor and fund manager data. Nine years inside the world's best private market data organisations showed him exactly what the market was missing — and exactly who was being excluded. He left in November 2025 to build the intelligence infrastructure that emerging managers have always needed and never had. Accepted into Sarvam AI Startup Program and LvlUp Ventures.

Capital Readiness — Founder Track

Questions founders ask before raising

Everything about preparing your data room, understanding your readiness score, finding the right investors, and getting your legal house in order before the first meeting.

Readiness and data room
Am I ready to raise capital? +

Capital Readiness gives you a live VC Readiness Score out of 100 calculated across six dimensions: data room completeness, legal readiness, financial clarity, investor fit, governance, and market narrative. The score updates every time you fill a field or upload a document. You do not need to guess whether you are ready — the score shows you exactly where you are strong and exactly what to fix before you reach out to investors.

What documents are missing from my data room? +

The platform tracks 85 fields across 10 sections of your data room. Every missing or incomplete field appears in a gap list with red, amber, and green status. Red means critical — an investor will ask for this and the absence will raise concerns. Amber means present but incomplete. Green means done. The gap list updates live and includes a direct link to fix each item.

Your current gap list
IP assignment — missing for 2 technical co-founders
Board resolution for current round — not uploaded
SHA — drafted but not executed by all parties
ESOP scheme — referenced in deck but not formally established
Cap table — clean and verified
Pitch deck — complete and uploaded
How does the data room know what I need at my stage? +

Every field in Capital Readiness is tagged to a fundraising stage — pre-seed, seed, or Series A. A pre-seed investor wants to see the pitch deck, the team, the market size, and a clean cap table. A Series A fund additionally requires audited financials, a full legal structure review, IP assignments, board governance records, and an ESOP formally established. The platform shows you only what applies to your current raise and tells you which items become required as you move up to the next stage.

Can I share my data room with investors? Can I control who sees what? +

Yes. You generate a shareable link for each investor separately. Every link is tracked independently — you see who opened it, when, which sections they spent time on, and how many times they returned. You can set section-level visibility so a specific investor sees only the sections you want them to see. You can add password protection, require an NDA acceptance before viewing, and revoke access at any time from your dashboard.

What is the Intelligence Link and how does it help me? +

When you create a Capital Readiness account and enter your CIN, the system looks up your company in the NestLens Intelligence entity database. If your company already exists — because NestIntel has found it through MCA filings, press coverage, or other sources — your data room links to that entity. Fields that Intelligence already has, like your incorporation date and registered address, appear in your data room pre-filled with source label Auto. When you verify a field by uploading a document, the confidence weight on your entity in the Intelligence database increases. Investors who look up your company through NestLens Intelligence see higher-quality, founder-verified data. And when NestIntel finds something new about your company — a press mention, a regulatory filing — an update available flag appears in your data room for you to review.

Legal readiness
What diligence issues should I fix before fundraising? +

The Legal Readiness Framework checks six critical areas that regularly cause rounds to stall or fail in diligence. IP assignment — has every founder, early employee, and contractor formally assigned their IP to the company? SHA execution — is the shareholder agreement actually signed by all parties, not just drafted? Cap table reconciliation — does your cap table match your SHA and board resolutions exactly? ESOP documentation — is the employee stock option scheme formally established and documented, not just mentioned in the pitch deck? Employment contracts — do all co-founders and key employees have signed agreements? Governance records — are board resolutions, director KYC, and regulatory filings current? The platform flags each of these before the investor's lawyers find them.

What is the Verified Audit and do I need it? +

Verified Audit is an optional feature where a Verified Auditor reviews your data room before you begin investor outreach. The auditor checks documentation completeness, governance readiness, financial disclosure consistency, legal preparedness, and the quality of your investor-facing materials. They deliver a written audit report that you can attach directly to your shared data room link. When an investor receives a data room with a third-party audit report, they spend less time on basic document verification and more time on the investment decision itself. This shortens the overall diligence timeline. It is particularly useful if you are approaching institutional investors for the first time or if your legal structure is complex. It is credit-based — you request it when you need it, not as a mandatory step.

Investor matching
Which investors are the best fit for my startup? +

Investor fit scoring is powered by the NestLens Intelligence database of 200,000+ funds and 7,000+ LP profiles. You fill in your investor criteria — the investor types you are seeking, your target geography, your round size, and your stage. The system returns a ranked list of investors with a fit score for each. Every result shows eight signals: when they last invested, which similar companies they have backed, their average cheque size, how long since their last investment, sector momentum in your vertical, the specific partner who leads deals in your sector, whether any portfolio company conflicts with yours, and how many warm introduction paths exist from your network to that investor. Results are capped at your best 15 matches — request a deeper list from inside the app if you need more.

Which investors backed companies similar to mine? +

Every investor result card in the fit scoring view shows actual portfolio company names in your sector and stage that this fund has backed in the last three years. You see the names, not just sector labels. This tells you two things: whether the fund has genuine experience in your space and whether any of those portfolio companies might be a conflict. You can click through to any portfolio company's entity profile to understand the investment in more detail.

How do I find warm introduction paths to investors? +

The investor fit result for each matched fund includes a warm introduction paths signal showing how many degrees of separation exist between you and the target investor through the NestLens network. This is mapped using co-investor relationships, alumni networks, and portfolio founder connections stored in the Intelligence entity graph. If two warm paths exist, the system shows what those paths are — for example, via a co-investor who has already backed you, or via a shared alumni network connection to the relevant fund partner.

Grants and mentorship
How do I find grants I qualify for? +

Grant and competition discovery matches your founder profile — sector, stage, founding team background, geography — against 150+ government schemes, grants, and competitions tracked continuously. This includes BIRAC BIG, SPARSH, LEAP for healthcare and life sciences founders; DST NIDHI, TIDE 2.0, PRAYAS for technology and deep tech; MeitY SoftEx and startup initiatives; SIDBI schemes; and 30+ state-level programmes including Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. Deadlines and eligibility criteria are tracked live — you receive alerts before application windows close so you never miss a grant you qualify for.

How does Mentor Connect work? +

Mentor Connect gives you access to experienced operators, investors, legal specialists, fundraising advisors, and sector practitioners. You browse mentor profiles filtered by sector, stage, and geography. You book a session type: Quick Call (20-30 minutes) for one specific problem, Full Session (60 minutes) for deeper engagement like data room review or pitch practice, or Deep Dive (multi-hour) for comprehensive fundraising preparation covering pitch, financial model, data room, and investor targeting strategy. Sessions are billed per minute in credits, from 10 credits per minute, so a quick call costs less than a full session or deep dive. Every mentor is rated by founders after each session — quality is self-enforcing through the ratings system.

What questions will investors ask me? +

The gap list in your Capital Readiness data room is effectively a list of questions investors will ask. Every red or amber gap item translates directly into an investor question. IP assignment missing becomes "Have all founders and contractors formally assigned their IP to the company?" SHA not executed becomes "Is your shareholder agreement fully signed by all parties?" ESOP not documented becomes "Where is the formal ESOP scheme documentation?" The Legal Readiness Framework is designed to surface every question an institutional investor's diligence team will ask before they see the deficiency themselves.

Pricing and access
How much does Capital Readiness Founder Track cost? +

India pricing is ₹9,999 per year with all nine modules included — data room, legal checklist, investor fit scoring, grant discovery, institutional templates, Verified Audit via credits, mentor connect, intelligence link, and shareable views with analytics. Global pricing is $299 per year. If you are joining through an accelerator or incubator, your programme may have a cohort deal where access is $49 per founder per year. There is no per-module pricing and no separate charges for features within the plan.

How does my company compare with other startups at my stage? +

The VC Readiness Score is calibrated against what investors actually expect at each stage — pre-seed, seed, and Series A — based on the field definitions in the platform and the Intelligence data on what funded companies at each stage had in their data rooms. Your score is not an absolute rating but a relative readiness assessment against the benchmark for your stage. A 74/100 at pre-seed means you are ready to have productive investor conversations with specific gaps to fix before term sheet discussions. The score improves as you complete more fields and upload more documents.

Capital Readiness — Fund Track

Questions GPs ask when raising from LPs

LP data room, multiple funds per manager, portfolio company management, LP fit scoring, and the connected private markets operating system.

LP data room and fund structure
What does a Fund Track LP data room include? +

The Fund Track LP data room covers 10 sections and approximately 90 fields. Fund Overview covers legal name, structure, target size, committed capital, vintage year, management fee, carry, and hurdle rate. Strategy and Investment Thesis covers your mandate, target sectors, geographies, stage, and portfolio construction model. Team and Governance covers key person bios, IC structure, advisory board, and succession plan. Track Record and Performance covers net and gross IRR, MOIC, DPI, TVPI, RVPI, and top case studies. Legal and Fund Structure covers LPA extract, subscription agreement, side letter policy, and conflicts-of-interest disclosure. Compliance and Regulatory covers SEBI AIF registration, AML/KYC policy, compliance manual, and regulatory disclosures. Operational Due Diligence covers fund administrator, auditor, valuation policy, NAV frequency, and cybersecurity policy. ESG and Responsible Investing covers your ESG policy, UN PRI signatory status, and impact measurement framework. LP Reporting and Communications covers quarterly report samples, capital account statements, and capital call notice periods.

Can I manage multiple funds under one account? +

Yes. Fund Track now supports a GP-level account that sits above all your funds. Fund I, Fund II, and Fund III each have their own separate LP data room under one login. The GP dashboard shows total AUM computed across all funds, total LP count with deduplication where the same LP appears in multiple funds, total portfolio company count, and average data room readiness score. You can create a new fund directly from the dashboard and each new fund room is automatically linked to your GP account.

How does the LP Readiness Ladder work? +

The LP Readiness Ladder has four levels reflecting the documentation requirements of different LP types. Level 1 — Family and Friends requires only fund overview, thesis, team, and basic track record. Level 2 — Family Office adds strategy depth, full performance data, legal structure, governance framework, and an ESG policy. Level 3 — Institutional LP adds full operational due diligence, audited track record letter, compliance manual, Form ADV equivalent, AML/KYC policy, and LP reporting history. Level 4 — Anchor or Sovereign adds DEI statistics, UN PRI signatory status, impact measurement framework, ESG reporting, and DFI-specific compliance items. The platform tells you exactly which fields unlock each level and tracks your progress toward each one.

How does Fund Track handle field sources and updates? +

Every field in the fund data room shows its source. Fields you type manually show Manual with the last-updated date. Fields computed from other fields — total fund size summed from individual LP commitments, remaining dry powder from committed minus deployed — show Computed. Fields that auto-populate from connected entities — LP mandate data from the Intelligence database, portfolio company data from linked Capital Readiness accounts — show Auto with the source entity. When a connected entity updates a field that yours references, an update available flag appears. You review the new value and pull it manually. Nothing in your data room changes without your explicit action.

LP matching and sourcing
Which LPs fit my fund's strategy? +

LP Opportunities matching is powered by 7,000+ LP profiles from the NestLens Intelligence database. Your fund's strategy fields — target sectors, geography, stage, cheque size, first-time-fund interest — are matched against LP mandate data, typical commitment size, and active deployment status. Every LP result shows eight signals mirroring the founder-side investor matching: active deployment status, similar funds backed in the last five years, typical commitment size, mandate type, DFI compatibility if applicable, the specific contact responsible for this mandate, and warm introduction paths. Results are capped at your best 15 LP matches per fund. They unlock in tiers as your data room gets more complete — 5 matches at 40%, 10 at 60%, and all 15 at 80% complete. Below 40%, matches stay fully hidden. You can request a deeper list from inside the app if 15 is not enough.

How does the Intelligence LP Link work in Fund Track? +

When you enter an LP in your fund's LP table, the system matches them against the NestLens Intelligence LP entity database. When a match is found, the LP row in your fund room links to the Intelligence entity. Their mandate data — LP type, geography focus, typical commitment size, recent fund commitments, active deployment status — surfaces directly in your LP table with source label Auto from Intelligence. When the LP's mandate changes in the Intelligence database, an update-available flag appears on that LP row in your fund. You pull the update when ready. You do not need to research each LP separately — the intelligence data comes to you in context.

Portfolio company management
How do I track my portfolio companies' investor readiness? +

Fund Track lets you link portfolio companies to your fund through a two-way approval system. You send a link request to a portfolio company, or they send one to you. The receiving side accepts or declines. Once linked and both sides have approved, the company's Capital Readiness data appears in your fund dashboard — their VC Readiness Score across six dimensions, their current gap list with red/amber/green status, fundraising history, current round details, and document vault index. When the founder updates their data room, an update-available flag appears in your fund dashboard. You pull the update when ready. The five portfolio company data rooms are included in the $500 Fund Track plan. Additional data rooms are $75 per year each.

What portfolio data does the fund dashboard show? +

For each linked portfolio company, the fund dashboard shows: VC Readiness Score across all six dimensions as a live number that updates when the founder updates their data room. Gap list showing critical red items, amber warnings, and green completed items — so you know which portfolio companies need attention before their next raise. Fundraising history including prior rounds, grant receipts, and current round target. Connected investors showing which funds and angels are also invested — this auto-populates your fund's co-investor list. Document vault index showing which documents are complete, pending execution, or missing. The founder controls what is visible to you — sensitive sections like unit economics are private by default and require their explicit permission to share.

What risks exist across my portfolio? +

The portfolio health overview in your GP dashboard shows every linked company's VC Readiness Score. Companies with red items in their gap list — missing IP assignments, unexecuted SHAs, undocumented ESOP schemes — appear flagged. Since these are the same legal gaps that cause investor diligence to stall, you can identify which portfolio companies need legal attention before they approach their next raise. The dashboard sorts by readiness score so the most vulnerable companies are visible immediately.

Pricing and features
What does Fund Track cost? +

Fund Track Core is $500 per year (₹42,000/year in India). This includes one GP account with unlimited funds, the full LP data room across 10 sections and 90 fields, LP readiness ladder, LP fit scoring against 7,000+ LP profiles, peer and stack benchmarking, LP shareable views with NDA-accept and access tracking, five portfolio company data rooms, the Intelligence LP link, Verified Audit via credits, and Mentor Connect billed per minute in credits. An additional LP data room — for a second LP class or SPV — is $300 per year. Additional portfolio company data rooms above the five included are $75 per year each. INR pricing is available for all items.

How does Fund Track compare with my portfolio companies as an investment in readiness? +

Fund Track at $500/year includes five portfolio company data rooms at no extra cost. Each portfolio company gets the full Capital Readiness Founder Track — data room, legal checklist, investor fit scoring, grant discovery, templates, mentor access, and Verified Audit. The individual price for one founder is $299/year globally or ₹9,999/year in India. Five founders at individual pricing would be $1,495/year. Through Fund Track, those five data rooms are included in your $500 plan, with additional companies at $75/year each. If you have a portfolio of 10 companies, the total is $500 for Fund Track plus $375 for 5 additional data rooms — $875 total versus $2,990 at individual pricing.

Which startups match my investment thesis?+

Intelligence matches your thesis — stage, sector, geography, cheque size — against active founders in the database. Every match shows the company's funding status, traction signals, team background, and whether they have a Capital Readiness data room linked. Companies with founder-verified data appear with higher confidence labels. You see ranked results, not a flat directory.

Which sectors are emerging before they become crowded?+

The signals feed tracks investment pace by sector over rolling 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month windows. Sectors where new company formation is accelerating but institutional investment has not yet caught up appear as emerging signals. You see the trend before the press covers it and before every major fund adds it to their thesis slide.

Which founders should I meet this month?+

Founder discovery filters by sector, stage, geography, and recency of data room update — which signals active fundraise intent. Founders who have updated their Capital Readiness data room in the last 30 days, whose investor criteria match your thesis, and whose CR score is above a threshold you set appear at the top of your discovery feed. You see the right founders at the right moment — not a static list of everyone who ever raised.

Which startups are raising right now?+

The active fundraise signal surface shows companies where fundraising_status is active and round_timeline is within the next 90 days, sourced from founder-declared data in Capital Readiness and NestIntel signals from press, MCA filings, and registry data. Confidence label on each record tells you whether this is founder-verified or inferred from a secondary source.

Which startups overlap with my portfolio?+

Portfolio overlap check is built into every investor search result. When you look at a company, the system cross-references their competitive landscape field against your linked fund's portfolio companies. Direct and indirect conflicts are flagged. This runs automatically — you do not need to manually check each new deal against your existing portfolio.

How does this startup compare with competitors?+

The benchmarking view pulls comparable companies in the same sector and stage and shows percentile rankings on available metrics — traction signals, team background, data room completeness, and fundraising history. You see where a company sits in the peer distribution before the first meeting. This is the investor-facing version of the same benchmarking that the Peer and Stack feature provides to fund managers.

Which funds fit my allocation strategy?+

Fund matching filters by mandate type — DFI, endowment, family office, HNI, pension fund — fund stage, geography, vintage, first-time-fund appetite, and typical commitment size. Every match shows the fund's strategy, team, track record signals, LP reporting quality, and data room completeness if the GP is using Fund Track. You see whether the fund has completed LP-level documentation before you commit time to a formal diligence process.

Which emerging managers should I track?+

Emerging manager discovery surfaces first-time and second-time fund managers across India, SEA, MENA, and Africa — geographies where Preqin and PitchBook coverage is weakest. Filter by vintage year, strategy, geography, team background, and whether the fund has an anchor LP already committed. People move signals show experienced investors who recently left established funds and are building their own vehicles — often the strongest emerging manager signals before the fund is formally announced.

Which funds are currently fundraising?+

Active fundraise signals for funds surface from SEBI AIF filings, press coverage, and GP-declared data in Fund Track. Filters include vintage year, target size, strategy, geography, and first close status. GPs who have completed their Fund Track data room and enabled LP Opportunities appear with their full mandate and documentation status visible — the highest-confidence signals for funds actively seeking LP capital.

Which sectors are over or underexposed in my portfolio?+

Portfolio diversification analysis maps your committed funds against sector and geography exposure. If you are tracking your fund commitments in the NestLens LP workspace, the system shows your sector concentration, vintage distribution, and geography spread against your stated mandate. Underexposed sectors relative to market opportunity and overexposed sectors relative to your target allocation are surfaced automatically.

How does this fund compare with peers?+

Fund benchmarking compares a target fund against comparable-vintage funds on IRR, MOIC, DPI, management fee, carry, portfolio construction, and ESG policy. For funds using Fund Track, verified performance data appears with higher confidence. For other funds, benchmarking uses Intelligence-sourced data from public filings and reported metrics with confidence labels showing the source of each data point.

Where are the best sourcing opportunities?+

Deal sourcing signals combine active fundraise flags, sector momentum signals, people moves, and accelerator graduation data. Founders who recently graduated from a top programme, updated their data room in the last 30 days, and whose criteria match your fund thesis appear ranked in your sourcing feed. The feed is personalised to your fund's thesis fields — you see relevant opportunities, not every company in the database.

Which co-investors should I engage?+

Co-investor tracking maps which funds and angels are backing companies in your thesis sectors. For your linked portfolio companies, co-investor data auto-populates from the connected entity records. For prospective deals, you see which other funds have already invested and whether their investment thesis aligns with or conflicts with yours. Warm introduction paths through co-investors are mapped automatically.

Which portfolio companies need attention?+

The portfolio health dashboard ranks your linked companies by VC Readiness Score. Companies with critical red gaps — missing IP assignments, unexecuted SHAs — appear flagged because these are the issues that will surface in their next investor diligence round. Companies whose readiness score has dropped since your last review show a change indicator. You see the most vulnerable portfolio companies before they come to you with a problem.

What market trends should I monitor?+

The signals feed tracks sector-level investment pace, new company formation by vertical, people moves across the fund ecosystem, and geographic capital flow trends. You can set the feed to filter by your thesis sectors and geography so you only see movements that are relevant to your fund's mandate. Trend data is available at rolling 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month windows for comparison.

How do I access institutional-grade data without a corporate account?+

NestLens Intelligence Individual plan is $150 per month with no corporate account, no purchase order, and no institutional login required. You get 50 credits per month and 250 firm unlocks. Browse the full database — 200,000+ funds, 7,000+ LP profiles, 110,000+ contacts — without spending a credit. Unlock only the profiles relevant to your current research. This is the first platform that treats the individual analyst as a first-class customer rather than requiring institutional affiliation.

How do I speed up client research briefs?+

Structured entity data with confidence labels on every field replaces the manual verification step in research briefs. When a field shows Verified, it has been confirmed by a primary source document. When it shows Reported, it comes from a secondary source like press coverage. When it shows Inferred, it is derived from related data. You know exactly how much to trust each data point before you use it — so your team spends time on analysis, not on building and verifying target lists from scratch.

Can I pay only for the profiles I actually need?+

Yes. The entity unlock model lets you browse and search the full database freely. You only spend a credit when you unlock a specific entity profile to access its complete data. The Individual plan gives you 50 credits per month. Credits do not expire at the end of the month — they roll over. You pay for what you actually use, not for a database you access twice a year.

What does coverage look like beyond India?+

NestLens Intelligence covers 60+ countries with structured data across funds, LPs, founders, portfolio companies, and service providers. Coverage is strongest in India, Singapore, UAE, South Africa, Vietnam, and Nigeria — the emerging market geographies where Preqin and PitchBook coverage is weakest. Confidence labels tell you exactly how deep coverage is in a specific geography so you know what to expect before you unlock a profile.

Which startups need my services right now?+

Active fundraise signals show which startups are in a round right now and therefore actively need legal, audit, HR, and advisory support. Filter by sector and geography to surface companies in your domain. Companies with Legal Readiness Framework gaps — missing IP assignments, unexecuted SHAs — are particularly likely to need legal counsel in the next 30 to 60 days. These signals give you the ability to reach out before your competitors know the company exists as a potential client.

Which fund managers are forming new vehicles?+

Fund formation signals surface from SEBI AIF filings, people move data — experienced investors who recently left established funds — and GP-declared data in Fund Track. A GP forming Fund I needs fund formation counsel, a fund administrator, an auditor, and compliance support simultaneously. These signals let you reach the GP at the formation stage rather than after they have already retained counsel through their personal network.

Which clients need compliance support?+

Compliance signals surface from regulatory filing deadlines, SEBI AIF renewal schedules, and compliance document expiry dates tracked in the entity graph. Companies and funds approaching compliance deadlines appear in the signals feed. This is particularly valuable for CA firms and compliance advisors who want to proactively reach clients before they face a compliance gap rather than after.

How can I find the right contact at a fund or startup?+

The 110,000+ contact records are linked to entity profiles — fund, GP, company — with name, title, email, LinkedIn, last active date, and role history. Role history shows who moved where, so you reach them at their current organisation, not the one they left two years ago. Every contact record has a confidence label — Verified for contacts confirmed through primary sources, Reported for those found through secondary sources.

Which startups in my cohort are investment-ready?+

If your cohort founders are on Capital Readiness, their VC Readiness Scores are visible in your partner dashboard. You can see at a glance which founders are ready for investor conversations and which have critical gaps to fix first. This replaces the subjective assessment of readiness with a quantified, consistently measured score across your entire cohort.

Which investors should I introduce to my founders?+

Intelligence fund discovery filters by stage, sector, and geography matching your cohort's profile. You see which funds are actively deploying at your founders' stage right now, which ones have backed similar companies, and what cheque sizes they write. Rather than making introductions based on personal relationships alone, you can systematically match each founder to the investors most likely to be interested — and show founders the signal data behind each recommendation.

Which mentors fit each startup in my cohort?+

Mentor Connect profiles are filterable by sector, stage, and geography. Your cohort founders can browse mentors themselves and book directly — no coordination overhead on your team. If your programme has its own mentors, they can list on Mentor Connect and earn from sessions booked by your cohort founders and founders anywhere on the platform. Your programme earns from sessions booked with mentors you refer to the platform.

How are alumni from my programme performing?+

Alumni tracking in Intelligence surfaces press coverage, new funding rounds, people moves, and company status changes for companies that have graduated from your programme. If alumni are linked to your programme's partner account on Capital Readiness, their ongoing data room updates and readiness scores remain visible to you. This gives you a live view of programme outcomes rather than relying on alumni self-reporting.
