Overview

Omnivore, a leading Indian agritech/climate VC, launched its Agritech & Climate Sustainability Fund (Fund 3) in April 2022 and announced first close at $150 million, exceeding an initial ~$130 million target. The fund plans 25-30 investments in agriculture, food, climate, and rural-economy startups at Seed/Series A, with cheque sizes of $1-5 million. First-close investors include KfW, the Self Reliant India Fund, FMO, SIFEM, IFC (with Gates Foundation support), Louis Dreyfus Company Ventures, DGGF, BIO, and Yara Growth Ventures.
