Overview

Calcutta Angels Network (CAN) is an angel investor group founded in 2013, headquartered in Kolkata, positioned as eastern India's first organized angel network. In 2018 it entered an operating partnership with Mumbai Angels for shared deal flow. IMPORTANT: its registered legal vehicle (CIN U82990WB2013PTC193974) currently shows ROC status "Strike Off" and its domain has expired -- indicating the formal entity is no longer an active going concern. Distinct from the still-active, separately-incorporated "IIM Calcutta Angels Network" (Joka Angel Network LLP), which is sometimes confused with it.
