Ajay Piramal SFO is the single family office of Ajay Piramal, Chairman of the Piramal Group and Shriram Group (pharma, financial services, real estate, glass packaging, information services). Its venture strategy centers on Montane Ventures, a VC fund Piramal established with $50M of anchor capital plus a target of raising a further $150M from external investors, focused on early-stage technology and consumer startups. Piramal Alternatives, the Group's fund-management arm, separately invested Rs 2.5bn in electric-bus maker PMI Electro Mobility Solutions (October 2023).
