Alterra (Uae-Based)

Overview

Alterra (ALTÉRRA), launched at COP28 in December 2023 with a $30bn UAE commitment, was established by Abu Dhabi-based alternative-investment manager Lunate. Has since announced plans for a $1.2bn co-investment vehicle (with a $250M BBVA contribution) to be domiciled at ADGM.
