Overview

Borusan Group, founded 1944 by Asım Kocabıyık (starting with iron/steel trading firm İstikbal Ticaret; pipe producer Borusan Boru added 1958; holding company structure created 1972), operates across manufacturing, machinery/power systems, automotive, logistics, energy, and corporate venture capital in 12 countries across three continents. Asım's son Ahmet Kocabıyık chairs the group; daughters Zeynep Hamedi and Nükhet Özmen serve as Vice Chairs. The family separately founded the Asım Kocabıyık Culture and Education Foundation in 1992.
