Overview
Investment-management subsidiary of Bpifrance, France's public investment bank formed 2012-2013 through the merger of OSEO, CDC Entreprises, FSI and FSI Régions, jointly owned by the French State (via EPIC Bpifrance) and Caisse des Dépôts (each ~49.18%). Bpifrance Investissement runs Bpifrance's fund-of-funds and direct private-equity/venture-capital investment activity, making Bpifrance the largest single institutional investor in the French PE/VC ecosystem, with reported equity/PE-VC assets under management of roughly EUR 32 billion (undated figure).
