Overview
China Medical Board (CMB), founded 1914 as the second major project of the Rockefeller Foundation, became an independent private foundation in 1928. Mission: advance health, equity, and quality of care in China and Southeast Asia. Since returning to mainland China in 1980, has expanded support to over a dozen medical universities in China and another dozen across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
