DisabilityCare Australia Fund

Overview

Australian Government sovereign investment fund established 1 July 2014 under the DisabilityCare Australia Fund Act 2013, to help reimburse Commonwealth/State/Territory governments for National Disability Insurance Scheme expenditure. Managed by the Future Fund Board of Guardians. Balance figures found in secondary sources are ambiguous/inconsistent (a "total credits since inception" figure of ~A$46.9bn as at Dec 2025 vs. an earlier reported balance of ~A$16.9bn at Dec 2023 -- these appear to measure different things, e.g. cumulative contributions vs. fund balance) so the AUM field is left unconfirmed rather than guessed.
