Overview
Downtown Dallas Parks Conservancy (DDPC), formed 2015 as 'Parks for Downtown Dallas,' is a nonprofit implementing the City of Dallas's 2013 Downtown Parks Master Plan -- converting surface parking lots and vacant land into a new neighborhood park system in the central business district. Park development has been jointly funded via $39.4M in City of Dallas bonds, $2.6M from the City Center TIF district, and $51M raised by the Conservancy and its donors; DDPC is pursuing a further $50M for long-term park maintenance and improvement.
