France's public pension reserve fund (FRR), established in 2001 to pre-fund future pension liabilities. Runs 8 private-equity mandates and 4 private-debt mandates, and in 2020 announced a plan to roughly double its PE exposure toward a target of about 5% of assets over a two-decade horizon. AUM reported at approximately EUR 21 billion (undated figure).
