Green Climate Fund (Gcf)

Overview

The Green Climate Fund, established under the 2010 Cancun Agreements as a financing mechanism for the UNFCCC and Paris Agreement, is headquartered in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea (selected as host country in 2012; HQ opened December 2013). Has committed nearly $20bn to climate projects, mobilizing close to $80bn including cofinancing.
