Family investment office of Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing, founded in 2002 by Solina Chau and Debbie Chang in Wan Chai, Hong Kong (the Li Ka Shing Foundation joined as a co-investor in 2004). Rather than raising a traditional pooled fund, it evaluates opportunities case-by-case and invests Li's personal capital into early- and growth-stage disruptive-technology companies (internet, mobile, AI since 2010). Notable early investments include Facebook, Skype, Spotify, Siri and DeepMind.
