Housing Australia Future Fund

Overview

Australian Government sovereign investment fund established November 2023 under the Housing Australia Future Fund Act, with an initial A$10 billion government investment, to help fund social and affordable housing. Managed by the Future Fund Board of Guardians alongside the Commonwealth's other special-purpose funds. Reported at A$10.885 billion as at December 2024 (7.5% return since inception).
