KIRKBI A/S, established April 1, 1995, is the holding and investment company of the Kirk Kristiansen family, founders of the LEGO Group (1932). Owns 75% of The LEGO Group plus 47.5% of Merlin Entertainments and BrainPop. Activities split between strategic holdings and financial investments (core capital: real estate, equity, fixed income; thematic capital: targeted long-term themes). In May 2023 the fourth generation (Thomas Kirk Kristiansen as Chair, alongside siblings) completed a gradual ownership handover from Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen.
