Overview

Kverva AS, established 1991 as a holding vehicle for the Witzoe family's stake in salmon farmer SalMar ASA (of which it remains the largest shareholder), is a privately owned Nordic investment company specializing in aquaculture and marine resources. Following a 2006 partial sale of SalMar shares to financial investors, Kverva re-established itself in 2007 as a diversified industrial investment company organized across four platforms: Sea Farming, Technology, Seafood, and Marine Resources, plus a low-risk asset portfolio supporting its long-term industrial holdings.
