Overview

Monterubello, an Italian società semplice owned by members of the Zegna family, is the controlling shareholder (~60%) of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group -- the Trivero-founded (1910) luxury fashion conglomerate operating the ZEGNA, Thom Browne, and Tom Ford Fashion brands. Ermenegildo 'Gildo' Zegna, Group CEO, also chairs Monterubello; in November 2024 Monterubello purchased 913,000 additional group shares with plans to acquire ~2 million more.
