Government provident fund for Filipino workers' housing savings, established June 11, 1978 (made independent via PD 1752 in 1980) under the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development; total assets reached PHP 1.276 trillion as of March 2026, invested substantially in government securities, corporate bonds and time deposits alongside its housing loan portfolio.
