Overview
PSI Foundation, established 1970 by Ontario physicians, traces to Physicians' Services Incorporated (Canada's largest prepaid medical plan, founded 1947 by the Ontario Medical Association), which wound down in 1969 when OHIP launched; its remaining CAD16M reserve seeded the Foundation, which has since granted over CAD130M.
