Poonawalla Family Office / Vision Fund

Overview

The Poonawalla family office manages the wealth of Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India (the world's largest vaccine maker by doses, founded by his father Cyrus Poonawalla in 1966), investing mainly through Rising Sun Holdings. Prior investments include Wellness Forever, MyLab, U GRO Capital, and Swasti Microfinance, plus the 2021 acquisition of Magma Fincorp (since rebranded Poonawalla Fincorp). Adar Poonawalla has separately sought SEBI approval for a dedicated Poonawalla Vision Fund (Category-II AIF) to invest a Rs 1,000cr corpus in growth-stage startups.
