Overview

Scotland's largest Local Government Pension Scheme fund (~288,000 members), administered by Glasgow City Council via the Strathclyde Pension Fund Office. Targets ~15% in alternatives (private equity, infrastructure, real estate) and recently added £1bn to impact strategies including growth equity. Audited fund assets were £31.3 billion as of 31 March 2025 (a separate press figure of £33.8bn as at 31 December 2025 was also reported but not used as the primary figure here, since the annual-report figure is the more authoritative source).
