TCorp (New South Wales Treasury Corporation)
Sydney, NSW, Australia
Overview
NSW statutory corporation (incorporated 4 May 1983 under the Treasury Corporation Act 1983) that is both the state's central borrowing/financing authority and one of Australia's largest institutional investment managers, managing pooled investment portfolios for NSW public-sector clients including State Super and icare. Note: the ~A$110bn figure is TCorp's funds-under-management as an investor, distinct from its much larger debt-issuance balance sheet (~A$169bn) -- the two should not be conflated.
