Overview

Valline S.R.L., established 1990 in Parma, is the private holding company of the Chiesi family, descendants of Giacomo Chiesi who founded pharmaceutical company Chiesi Farmaceutici in 1935. Beneficiaries include Alberto, Alessandro, and Maria Paola Chiesi, who together control roughly 60% of Chiesi Farmaceutici through Valline. Valline also holds 65% of Holostem Terapie Avanzate, a regenerative-medicine company it has financed as sole partner since 2008.
