Zydus Family Trust is the promoter/shareholding trust of the Patel family (Pankaj R. Patel, Pritiben P. Patel, and Sharvil P. Patel as trustees), holding the family's equity stake in Zydus Lifesciences (formerly Cadila Healthcare). Cadila Healthcare traces to a 1952 pharmaceutical venture co-founded by Ramanbhai Patel and Indravadan Modi; the Patel and Modi families split the business in 1995, with Cadila Healthcare becoming the Patel family's holding vehicle.
