A LabelNest Connect briefing

The network, already built into the room you're standing in. Not a directory to search.

Mentors, legal and compliance partners, and deal scouts, requested directly from the same data room a founder or fund already works in. No separate site, no cold email, no explaining your situation from scratch to someone who has never seen your data.

The problem

Getting outside help usually means leaving the room you're already working in.

A founder who needs a mentor's opinion, a fund that needs a diligence audit, or a GP looking for deal flow all end up doing the same thing: searching a directory, sending a cold email, then waiting on someone who has never seen the actual data room and has to be walked through it from zero before they can help at all.

๐Ÿ”
A directory, not a workflow. Finding the right mentor or partner is a search problem, disconnected from the actual work waiting for them.
๐Ÿ“ง
Context lost in an inbox. Files get forwarded by email, version by version, instead of the partner simply opening the real room.
โ“
No proof the work happened. An audit or legal review completed outside the platform never makes it back into the record an investor will actually see.
๐ŸŽฏ
Sourcing with no record. A GP's ask for deal flow lives in a text thread with a scout, not anywhere the fund can actually track it.
How it connects

A request goes out from the room. The verified work comes back into it.

Connect isn't a separate product you visit. It's reachable directly from Ascent's founder data room or Command's fund workspace. Once a legal or audit partner is assigned, they don't get a copy of your files, they get real access to the room itself, and their finished report is filed straight back into the same place an investor will eventually look.

Module 1

Mentor Connect

Book a real person's time directly, not a form that goes into a queue.

๐Ÿ‘ค
Real mentor profiles.
Bio, expertise areas, and a track record, not an anonymous request form.
๐Ÿ—“๏ธ
Book a specific session, at a set price.
Each mentor sets their own session types, duration, and fee. You pick, you book.
๐ŸŽ›๏ธ
A real dashboard for the mentor.
Mentors manage their own availability, pricing, and bio, and see every session they've booked.
โญ
Reviews that carry forward.
A mentor's track record builds with every completed session.
๐Ÿ“‹
A signed agreement, before anyone gets listed.
Every mentor signs a real partner agreement as part of onboarding, kept on file against their profile.
๐Ÿ“…
Real availability, not a guess.
Mentors set their own weekly availability, so a booking only ever lands on a slot they actually offered.
๐Ÿง
Pre-session context, not a cold call.
A founder can leave questions ahead of the session, so the mentor walks in already knowing what's being asked.
Every session fee splits a fixed way: 40% to the platform, 40% to the mentor, 20% held for the partner organisation that brought them in, paid out automatically once a session completes.
Module 3

Scouting

Deal flow, in two real, different directions.

A fund asks
A GP posts what they're looking for, sector, stage, geography, and check size, straight from a fund room in Command. The request is tracked, not lost in a text thread.
Curated, not cold
The other direction runs through Ascent, not around it: a real startup only becomes eligible once its own data room is at least 40% complete, so what reaches a vetted scouting partner is a founder who has already done real work in the room, never a cold lead with an empty profile.

Both directions are tracked records, not a text thread. Scouting doesn't touch Atlas today, it runs entirely on real Ascent data.

Access

Included, not a separate subscription.

Mentor Connect and legal requests come with an active Ascent or Command plan, no extra line item. Mentors and partners apply for free and go through a real vetting step before their dashboard ever goes live, so what shows up on the other side of a request has already been checked.

Ready when you are

The help you need, from inside the room you're already in.

Live today, not on a roadmap.
